To me there is nothing worse than seeing an overweight dog and its completly avoidable. Dogs that are fed scraps, too large portion sizes and treats combined with very little exercise will become overweight and this can lead to medical problems which I'm sure you would really want to avoid. A high protein intake can lead to dogs becoming hyperactive and agressive so its important to get the right balance. During training and walks I use low fat tasty treats.
